I’m a book cover designer who makes premade historical romance book covers. That means I need historical romance book cover titles. So many titles! I went looking for a title generator for historical romance novels, but I couldn’t find anything that was dedicated to the historical romance genre.

So I decided to make one myself. Check out the Historical Romance Book Titles Generator!

A few examples of randomly generated historical romance titles:

To create it, I looked through about 400 historical romance books and pulled vocabulary from the titles. Since I’m a book cover designer, I’m always researching genres, so I had this information already to hand!

And has some who’ve already played with the title generator have noted, it doesn’t separate out the subjects by gender. So the results include a lot f/f and m/m content (as well as some titles that might be appropriate for historical reverse harem or polyamorous romances!). One of my focuses is LGBTQ book covers (specifically f/f and lesbian book covers), so I needed a generator that would create titles fitting for my LGBTQ historical romance book covers!
